On 22 October 2026, CUBIC project will host its next Open Training Session & Demo Workshop, bringing together expert presentations, technical discussions and hands-on demonstrations.
The hybrid event will focus on two processing routes explored within CUBIC: thermoplastic resin transfer moulding (T-RTM) with bio-based polyamides, and rotational moulding. Experts from Novamont, Queen’s University Belfast and Aitiip will share results obtained in the project, from material development to processing and end-of-life considerations.
What participants will gain:
• An overview of bio-based polyamide grades and how their properties match the requirements of T-RTM and rotomoulding.
• Practical insight into processing parameters, challenges and lessons learned when scaling these materials towards real applications.
• Understanding of circular-by-design approaches, including recyclability and end-of-life of multi-material components.
• Direct exchange with researchers and industry experts, and networking opportunities with other stakeholders in the plastics and composites value chain.
Who Is It For?
Engineers, R&D and technical staff from plastics, composites, automotive and energy storage companies (especially SMEs), as well as researchers and students interested in bio-based materials and sustainable processing.
